Mighty Tigers

Currently enrolled or future students for generations to come, this Tiger sculpture is representative of all those that have passed through the halls. The mascot of Union Endicott High school, two tigers stand tall and proud in this sculpture that sits outside the district office.

A large tiger, alumni of the school, leads a smaller tiger, current and future students, symbolic of the strong, prideful ties to the community that this institution produces, wherein generational leadership brews.

Half-inch plate donated by Pacemaker Steel and cut into the shape of Tigers by Raymond Manufacturing, this sculpture was welded together by Private Passage prior to hot-dip galvanizing and painting.

Standing at approximately 5’ high and 7’ long, the beauty of these bright orange tigers is hard to miss. All materials, design and fabrication for this project was donated by the various companies involved to make a statement to all students of the school district that though they forge their own path, there is always someone to help guide them on their way.

“The Tiger Legacy Project was the creation of Billy Nolis, class of 1979, who came up with the concept of having tigers represent the past, present, and future tigers of Union-Endicott,” said Wolfe.
